Last week (7-12 October 2024), we wrapped up an incredible late summer school that brought together bright minds, innovative ideas, and an excellent collaborative spirit! 🌞✨
Organised by the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering – University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, the „International Summer School on Advanced Remote Sensing” gathered 50 participants (43 attending in person and 7 online) from 4 different countries (Romania, Hungary, Republic of Moldova and Turkey) and 13 organisations (11 universities and 2 research institutions) – Military Technical Academy „Ferdinand I”, Ovidius University of Constanta, „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, „1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia, University of Bucharest, Transilvania University of Brasov, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj Napoca, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Obuda University, Technical University of Moldova, Gebze Technical University, „Marin Drăcea” National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry, and National Research and Development Institute for Optoelectronics. 🌍📚
Throughout the week, participants dove deep into remote sensing, gaining hands-on experience through expert lectures, practical sessions, and team-based projects. Whether it was exploring cutting-edge scientific research, solving real-world challenges, or networking with peers and professionals, every moment was an opportunity to learn and grow! 🚀💡
